Suggestion: Add audio for vocab during drills

Asked 6 years ago

I'm working on switching to Nihongo Master from Anki/Textfugu and one of the things I am missing very much is hearing the audio for a vocab word presented during the drills. This would be a REALLY nice addition. It could be an optional button or auto play. It could either play before the person has answered (if asking for English answer) or after the student has selected a choice. Either way I would love to have some audio to help reinforce the vocab whether I get the answer right or wrong.

I like that idea! :)

I like that, but please don't make it auto play. A button would be best.

I think the reason they don't have audio for every drill is so that you learn to read the words on your own. Reading Japanese Hiragana is very easy as the vowels do not have inflections unless combined. This is a great feature of the language compared to, let's say, Chinese which has 5 inflections for the sound "ma" alone.

That would be good!

That sounds awesome! I was thinking the same thing myself.

Know someone who might be able to answer this question?
