Changes to the drill system still coming?

Asked 6 years ago

Just wanted to ask if those changes to the drill system are still planned.

Still a bit overwhelming to do 400+ drills, come back in 12 hours and have another 200-300 sitting again. Ive turned off quite a few but it seems as though you never chip away at them fast enough. It certainly makes you hesitate to do more lessons because you don't want to add more to your drill weight. I dont think it would be as much of an issue if you were manually inputting each answer, but the click multiple choice means, im not really sure if i am even retaining the answers, there are sometimes i feel like im just clicking one answer because the others "look" wrong. if that makes sense. Im a big fan, currently a year subscriber, but i am not sure i would renew that year, as i am unsure the drills would be helpful once i get to the advance lessons.

Know someone who might be able to answer this question?

The way I do it is I complete a lesson.  Then I do enough drills like 100-300 then i do the next lesson.  You can always turn off the drills you have mastered! :)

And we're certainly working hard to improve the drill management. We have a few things in development!

If I did more than one lesson a day I would be completely swamped with drills like OP. I find it manageable if I limit my lessons. As you get more advanced, you want to pace yourself. Sometimes it's hard to absorb even one lesson a day.

It's going to be a couple of weeks I think. Truth be told, we've been redeveloping the site in a more optimized backend which will make these changes easier to make in the future. However, the rewriting of everything takes awhile. We're going full steam on it!
