How do I say someone’s best thing?

sorry if the title is a bit hard but I’m wondering how to say “Toka-san’s favorite food is sushi”

is it “Toka-san no sukina tabemono wa sushi desu”

or do I have to use ichiban? I don’t truly know how  to properly use ichiban on a sentence like that but here’s my take:

”Toka-san no ichiban tabemonode sushi desu”

which one is better? What’s the difference? Thank you ^_^
