Hey, I'm sorry for not noticing your message earlier. My impression of this site is that it is probably one of the most amazing studying tools for Japanese. Since writing and reading Japanese differs so much from what we're used to repetition is they key. The possibility to get a lot of daily exercises and your own study lists is great, the lessons on grammar are amazing aswell. Being at the top rank I'm not nearly fluent though, I also know there are people on this site who are fluent or at least close to fluent, but not yet in the top ranks. The only reason I'm at the top rank right now is because I'm working on completing the joyo kanji list (~2100 kanji), the drills for these give me a vast amount of points. So if you're wondering whether this site will truly help you learn Japanese, trust me, it will. After you finish the lessons you'll know most of the grammar you need and already quite some kanji. From there on it's just learning alot of kanji (and getting points!). I think that this site in the end will get me from knowing nothing to nearly fluent in about 1.5 years.
